Cash Flow Workshop

What you need to know to understand the cash flow in your business…

even if you’re not a bookkeeper.

This workshop is designed to help small business owners to build their cash flow capability by simplifying cash flow and helping you find the answers to these four questions:

  1. Is my business profitable and making money?
  2. Have I put enough money aside to meet my regular financial commitments?
  3. Does my business have enough money to spend on myself and pay others?
  4. Is my financial position improving each and every year?

There’s a lot to do when you get set up and then start to run your own business – but no matter what, if the financial foundation isn’t right, the business may never get ahead.

There is a lot of information available about cash flow, but it can sometimes be hard to cut through all of that and actually take that information and turn it into knowledge that you can apply.

Cash Flow is king, and there’s a lot of evidence around that shows that businesses who manage their cash flow effectively are more likely to succeed. Most of this evidence sits around the failure rate and the leading causes of those failures.

We are here today though to focus on the positive AND on your decision to take control, to look forward to creating a business where cash flow is solid and your business is profitable and sustainable.

This is not an accounting course, but it will begin to introduce a cash flow canvas, which is an action tool that you can learn how to use to understand how cash flow works in small business.

Using a tool like this means that you can see the picture of your business in a simple way, focusing on money in and money out – and that helps you then plan for change and ultimately improve your cash flow.
